First time electric dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a gas dryer, because I know it is efficient, and drys clothes faster. But I am surprised how quickly my full load of clothes dried in the new gorgeous Samsung Electric Dryer.. It was very quiet the whole time. I paired the dryer with my Samsung Smartthings setup, so I even got the notification at the end of the cycle. Only thing I didn't like is the LED light in the dump is very weak, so there is hardly any light. But my laundry room light is good enough to illuminate inside the dryer as well.

Super Dryer!!

Super impressed with the style , design and Wi-Fi connectivity. When I wake up in the morning I can turn on the dryer from my phone and when I leave for work I put on some warm and wrinkle free clothes. The size of the dryer makes it so easy to dry large clothing for example, comforters. I’m very impressed and I would recommend my family of friends this product.

Fantastic Samsung Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Impressive items on the dryer - times, sensor, and light.
The dryer can be set to a time, set via a sensor, or set according to the Application on the phone. So far, great drying and our first try at the wrinkle prevent made our sheets and clothes quite puffy. We needed two baskets instead of one.
I look forward to trying to sanitize, bedding, and air fluff.
Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app.
Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Washer / Dryer set and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

Samsung Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Similar to the washer, the dryer has so many upgraded features. You can set the dryness level of your choice for your clothes. It has huge capacity, which works so much easier for heavy loads like beddings/pillows. Another advantage is it isn’t loud, that helps us a lot as we have little babies at home. Smart thing app was extremely easy to navigate. Overall, we are very pleased with our buy and we definitely recommend this to others.

7100 Series Dryer sings a lovely tune

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again this is our first time owning electric dryer, I was little skeptical that it might not be effectient like the gas dryer, but I am amazed at how quickly the clothes were dried.. I am actually shocked that an extra large load took much less time to dry than my gas dryer would have taken.. Similar to the washer, I connected the dryer to my Smartthings setup.. and I can monitor the cycle, start the dryer, and get notification when the dryer is done. Thumbps up!!

Fast Dry Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is quick and very efficient at getting my clothes and bedding items dry. I have had to adjust the dry setting up or down based on my items, but I like that I can do this from the machine or from the Smart Things app. I really like that this has numerous settings and even more I can download through the app. One of my favorite features is the wrinkle prevention option and the app alert when a cycle is finished so I am able to remove my clothes and prevent wrinkles in a timely manner. This is really great when I'm not near my dryer to hear the chime go off. This dryer works well, the only thing I don't like is the lint trap, there are these little pegs that stick out that always catch my hand and rings.

Works Great

All the programs we have tested are effective, efficient and doing what they are supposed to be doing. I tried the app and controlling the washer from the app, and that has been nice. I can make some changes or turn the washer on without going downstairs to the laundry room. Convenient. 2. Appearance. The washer looks nice in the laundry room. It is tall, which I love as I am tall myself. Love the rounded edges and clear lid. 3. Capacity. I have washed three sets of bedding sheets, and they all fit easily into the washer. No complaints here. 4. Savings. It saves water, energy and time for my family. Highly recommended.

Best Dryer Purchase Ever

Just like the washer , I can connect to Samsungs Smart Things app. I love that I can use an app to do my laundry. I love the fluff setting to ensure my clothes don’t wrinkle. The dryers steam function is fantastic not to mention the large opening and can certainly fit a large my king size duvet cover without worrying if it will dry.
Also, the lint trap is ingenious, I love the little cubbyhole area making it easy for cleanup. I would definitely recommend the dryer to family and friends.

Huge Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung 7100 series dryer is very impressive. It has an extra large tub that has helped up reduce the amount of loads of laundry with our large family. The button layout is easy to understand, and the cycles are very easy to navigate. I like the door design because it can be set to open from the left or the right side. I really like the design of the lint trap. It's very efficient and will help prevent a lot of lint from getting into your dryer vent.
This dryer has a steam/sanitize function that we have used several times already. It is especially useful for refreshing your clothes when you forget to get them out after the cycle is done. We intentionally left a load of scrubs and dress shirts in the dryer overnight and then the next day used the "Refresh" steam cycle and it took the wrinkles out of the clothes with ease.
The smart things app was a breeze to setup and get running. There is a QR code that you can scan on the front of the dryer and it takes less than a minute to get working. The app tells you how much time is left on your cycle and has lot of helpful information like "Dry Recipe" which will help you pick a dry cycle depending on what clothes you are wanting to dry.
The only critique I can find on the dryer is that the top is slanted and not flat. I guess the bright side is you won't have your dryer become a magnet for everything that comes into your house.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the dryer and have run it through about every cycle and option, and it has succeeded with flying colors. I am very happy with the purchase and would purchase it again.

Excellent and good looking washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung washing machine has exceeded my expwctations. I knew it was going to outperform my outdated washing set, but this one is sowething else. I love how it looks, its height, I am tall so the fact that I don't have to bend down to load it is very important. The clear lid, that lets me see what's going on inside. The capacity is amazing. No more splitting my laundry to 10 laods, I can do all the same color laundry in one load. The number of settings is impressive as well. I have only tried a few so far, but hoping to test them all soon. The only thing that could use some improvement would be the shelf for laundry detergent. It seems rather flimsy and difficult to reach. Overall though, love my new washing machine!

The dryer works great on sensor dry and is pretty quiet while it is running. It has a large capacity, so can hold all of the laundry that I am able to wash in the matching washer. A couple of other features that I love are light which my older dryer didn't have and the lint filter indicator. Overall, a very nice dryer.
I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things app, but connecting to the dryer was quick and easy. It is nice to be able to see where you are at in the drying cycle without walking out to the laundry room!

Awesome Dryer

We recently moved and the washer and dryer that came with our new home was not Samsung... So, of course, I had to replace them!
My washer is slightly bigger than my previous Samsung Washer we had before moving.
As a mom and dog mom, I find myself doing laundry at least once a day. I am always washing towels and blankets and clothes in between!
Connecting the washer and dryer to the SmartThings App was incredibly quick and easy!
My favorite features of the Samsung dryer, I am excited about the Steam Sanitize+ option. This option is said to kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria, 95% of pollen, and all dust mites. There are also a variety of drying options!

Easy To Use & Super Effective Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just upgraded my dryer to this Samsung and could not be happier. I was worried it would be difficult to set up the unit, but it was a breeze! I also purchased a matching washing machine and found that despite the smaller footprint, both units actually hold way more laundry than my old larger unit did; and they clean and dry the clothes faster. That should lead to fewer loads and more energy bill savings.
The unit runs very quiet and isn't a distraction while trying to do other things (like watch TV) in the house. There are a ton of intuitive settings that help customize the size and type of load to the required time to get the job done, which makes my life easier. I really didn't even have to reference the manual.
The SmartThings App is also really cool. I can see exactly how much time is left on each load and can even stop/start the machine while I'm remote. I've found the updates handy and can feel safe leaving the house, while still sorta keeping an eye on the progress.
The light is helpful when I go into the laundry room for a quick peek to see how far along things are, which is also aided by the clear control panel LEDs. My only regret is not purchasing this sooner.

Great Dryer With Lots Of Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer replaces a 10 year old dryer that was on it's last legs. I immediately noticed how many more items I could get in the drum despite the unit's smaller footprint. This will mean fewer loads and saving more on my energy bills. The unit runs very quiet and isn't a distraction while doing other things in the house. There are a ton of settings so I can customize what I need done based on how much laundry I'm doing and the amount of time I have. The controls are very straight forward as well.
Another nice feature is the SmartThings App. It provides real-time updates when I'm not near the machine and even when I leave the house. It also allows me to start/stop the machine if needed for any reason.
There's a light, which is helpful when I go into the laundry room for a quick peek at the progress, as well as an easy to read display screen. So far, this has been a great purchase.

The Perfect Partner to the Washing Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My feature of this machine is the steam sanitize. I have 3 cats inside and while I keep a clean house, my roommate has some allergies. It is so helpful to be able to sanitize the linens and towels.
The light inside the drum was such a surprise! I haven't seen that in a machine in such a long time. It helps you to see all of the items in the dryer so you don't end up with just one lone sock. I love the fact that it senses how dry the clothes are and adjusts the time accordingly.
Drying large items like bedspreads and comforters are a breeze with this machine. No more running out to an external laundry to dry your large items.
I haven't quite mastered the Smart Things app but it will be fun learning to control the machine from it. I am very happy with this dryer. It has made my life so much easier.

Amazing dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer! It arrived at the perfect time as I had a bunch of laundry I needed to do including my bedding and 3 blankets for the dogs.
I did 3 loads of laundry - 1 for my bedding, 1 for the dogs bedding and 1 for clothes. This would usually take me AT LEAST 5 separate loads but this dryer had so much extra space. Not only that but despite drying several thick items it was able to dry faster and in one run. I'm used to drying them separately and multiple times!
I've used about 2 of the 21 dry cycles, and I also downloaded the Eco Normal cycle onto it.
Speaking of the app - setting it up was a complete breeze. I've used SmartThings extensively before but this was by far the easiest. After installing and running a test load I was prompted on my phone to connect to the dryer. The best part is I was all the way up stairs and it still connected. When I went downstairs to check on it I was able to easily scan the QR code to finish the setup.
I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about the wifi feature but after spending the day using it I love being able to check on the status or get the remaining time. This is even more true because the dryer is just *so* quiet that I can't tell if it's running from anywhere else in the house. Now I just get a notification on my phone that it's done and I know to go down there.
While we're on the topic of the app, there was only one downside that I have found with the dryer and the app so far - I would love to be able to create my own custom preset that I could download to the dryer. For example I typically dry my clothes on "Normal" but with low temperature. The dryer by default uses hot temperature. which isn't a big deal to change. However if I could just create a new preset on the app and download it to the dryer that would be absolutely amazing and I do feel like this is a missed opportunity. For the time being though I have used the "Time Dry" option with a lower temperature and just set the time I'd like it to run for.
However there is just so much to love here. The huge capacity and nearly silent operation are almost mind blowing. I also love that as I'm changing settings on the control panel that it shows me exactly how long it will be running for.
Attached is a not-so-great photo of my current setup. I have a shelf above the units that will either need to be raised or re-located as these are slightly taller than my old ones. So for the time being they're sticking out further than necessary in order to use.

Fantastic Samsung Dryer

Some impressive items on the dryer - times, sensor, and a light! I did not realize how much I missed a light within an appliance.

Software: SmartThings and Smart Care
SmartThings is a fantastic app. Not only does it provide real time information for your dryer cycle, it helps understands all the available configuration options. The User Interface (UI) is very easy to use and follow. The barcode on the physical washer/dryer made it super easy for the software installation.
Need help troubleshooting a problem or code? Smart Care is there. It is a very helpful and intuitive user interface. If you still are stuck, support numbers are available in the app.
Overall, we are impressed with our initial week of using the Samsung Dryer and look forward to utilizing the full suite of options.

The sanitize feature is great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] !This Samsung Smart Dryer has a feature ive never had before and i love it! It sanitizes fabric with steam and can also refresh wrinkled items without having to wash them. Thats a great option to have sometimes! It also has a very large drying capacity. It can handle drying bedding , bulky items and heavy loads easily. The controls are easy to see and set with lots of choices for cycles and drying times or you can let the moisture sensor set the most efficient drying times. It connects to my smart things app along with my other samsung appliances and lets me schedule cycles and get alerts from my phone. it has an lint filter reminder and i aslo appreciate that it has a light inside because thats not a feature in a lot of dryers anymore! Im very happy with this dryer and it does aoes a great job of drying and sanitizing my clothes without wrinkles

It removes 95 percent of pollen from fabrics and the multi steam cycle can also be used to remove wrinkles. Its a very handy feature to have! It also has sensor dry that automatically sets the needed time and temperature. I was really surprised that some dryers dont have an interior light anymore but this samsung dryer does ...another feature that i like a lot! This dryer connects to the smart things app with my other samsung appliances and that allows me to remotely schedule drying times and also troubleshoot any potential problems. It has a handy reminder to clean the lint filter on the control panel. I really like that its a large enough size to easily dry bedding or other bulky items. Im really happy with the size and the features of this dryer!

Samsung continues to amaze me

I have the new 7.4 cubic foot smart electric dryer with pet care.
It has a steam sanitizer and of course, it connects to the smart things app which is fantastic because I can start and stop my Cycles with a touch of a button.
This has 12 preset dry cycles, and nine downloadable dry cycles, the dryer door can be made reversible to accommodate your laundry room, it has five temperature settings and five drying levels. I love the team sanitizer feature, this helps to eliminate up to 99.9% of germs and bacteria on clothing.
The sensor dry optimizes the time and temperature to keep your clothes from being damaged by heat.
The vent sensor and lint filter indicate when your dryer is operating safely and efficiently.
Everything that Samsung touches right now absolutely amazes me, they keep raising the bar every time they come up with a new product.

Great dryer with smart features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome dryer for anyone who enjoys smart home devices and Samsung products. As a dryer, it preforms perfect like you would expect from a Samsung appliance. I have dried numerous loads of laundry by now and have had no issues getting clothes of all types clean and dry. There are many different presets for different types of clothes or other laundry items. The best part however, is the addition of the smart features. It was extremely simple to connect to the Samsung Smart Things app. Once connected it can be easily controlled from the app. You can set the exact settings you want and send them to the dryer. The best part is being able to see how much time is remaining and getting notifications when complete. The only downside is that you have to remember to turn the dryer on and enable smart control each time you use it. As long as you remember to do this when putting the clothes in however, it isn't much of a problem.
