Excellent Clothes Washer
Our new front load SQ washer is the best washer we have ever owned or used (we've owned Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, and Bosch washers). We were (pleasantly) surprised to see our clothes (particularly bath towels) noticeably cleaner using the SQ than when using our previous washer (using the same Costco/Kirkland detergent and same amount of detergent); the reason (our guess) is that the SQ uses more water while washing. The quality construction of the SQ washing machine is very apparent. Although the price of the SQ was higher than competing washing machines, we believe it was a worthwhile investment...you get what you pay for. Very pleased!

Love It!!!
Bought the matching pair of washer and dryer. Good grief I cannot believe how much I spent considering I came from my starter wringer washer and clothes line in the basement. The only thing I miss is the light in the washer. Sure beats fighting with my old pair that was 20 something old.

Excellent Clothes Washer
The various wash cycles deliver outstanding results. The control panel is simple and intuitive to operate and the clothes come out of the washer with fewer wrinkles than my previous washer. However, I don't like that the black gasket inside the washer leaves black marks on my white sheets even though I use the permanent press wash cycle.

It is possible to love a washing machine
I've had multiple Front Load Washing machines over the last 25 years. I'd never heard of Speed Queen until asking the last repairman what brand they would buy. This is the best kept secret. I don't think the clothes have ever been so clean. I appreciate there is more water in each load that actually gets the load completely wet. I tested the don't be afraid to pack it to the top as mentioned. I have a heavy king comforter that would never work in other brands. This unit handled it and said what else you got. Thanks Speed Queen

She loves it!
Honey was worried about machine not working well with so little soap and only 30 minute clean time. After a day of use she was so excited about the quality of the wash. She says only 30 minutes with so little soap and the clothes come out cleaner than old washer and almost dry.

Excellent choice!
It was time to replace our existing washer so we talked to the person who services them. Both my wife and I are retired and on a budget. We were interested in the most efficient and longest lasting machine on the market. Our guy recommended the front load Speed Queen washer. It was easy to use, has a large capacity drum, made in America and the best value for our money. The choice was easy to make!

Impressive Build Quality
I recently replaced my 21 year old front loader with a Speed Queen (FF7009WN). My old unit was not dead but it was getting old and tired so I'm hoping to get at least the same service life out of this new one. I was looking for an "old school" front load machine which uses more than a cup of water to actually "wash" clothes. That pretty much narrowed it down to only Speed Queen and I was NOT disappointed. If you're looking for the very best front loader to handle all your washing needs without wifi and other frills and gimmicks then this is the machine for you. If you want a fake stainless steel tub surrounded by a plastic outer tub and junk then go buy pretty much any other brand. If you don't believe me about fake stainless steel tubs go run a magnet inside any other washer machine tub and you'll find that it sticks. The internals of this machine is just as beautiful as the outside with real parts that won't fail as soon as the warranty expires, Speaking of warranty, the place I bought this Speed Queen didn't even bother to try and sell me an extended warranty because they said it's a waste of money. I almost fell for the cool wifi options out there and to make things easier by dumping the entire bottle of detergent inside and let the machine automatically do the dosing but these things just create more failure points on the appliance. I also see that the sizes are getting monstrous in washing capacities without increasing the dimensions of the unit - how is this even possible? Well I guess they skimp on the insulation and other important parts which increase longevity. Customer service is top notch with Speed Queen, I've called with questions during the busiest times but they always managed to call me back pretty fast. One last thing, can you imagine the mold growing from all the detergent those machines hold when you dump the whole bottle in it? I never had mold issues with my old unit so I expect to never have a problem my new Speed Queen since I never keep the door closed unless it's washing a load and I always rinse out the soap dispenser. If you follow these simple things you will never have any mold issues which seem to be a downside of having a front load washer. Take care of a Speed Queen and you will have it for decades. The guys who delivered mine told me that they remove old working Speed Queens from peoples homes that are 30-40 years old! That speaks volumes.

Washer does a fantastic job, even if off balance
Washer delivered and hooked up, delivery pair left, had to call Howard's twice, another pair showed, got level bubble pretty close to level, then left. Washer walked while spinning, checked level off about 1/5th bubble. Have not called anyone yet, to busy with other things. It does wash very well, it's the spinning I have to watch right now. Will call someone when things slow down around here.

Washes cloth better then my old front load washer.
Purchased this to replace my 23 year old Maytag front load washer. Cleans my wash faster and with less water and has many options to do types of wash loads. We like it so far but have an issue with certain type loads with load balance. The store shop was out 2x to level the washer and the second time seemed to do the job. About a week or 2 later we did a short wash and the washer started walking. I tried multiple time to level the washer but when certain smaller loads the washer walks in spin mode. I now have a firm foam between the washer and the wall next to it and now it hasn’t walked. The other thing is there is no light to in the drum when loading or unloading the wash. I installed a flex light low on the wall in front of the washer so we can see if we removed everything from the washer. Other than the balance walking issue and light I really like the washer.

Product works well now after the Door was adjusted. Waited almost 30 days for service. Alliance Laundry Systems did try to get this done sooner to no avail. They gave us another option of having an appliance service technician that was not trained on their product do the work with direction from their support line. I just could not find anyone that was available to do this.

I love the features of this machine, especially the delicate cycle which is very short. My work clothes are rarely dirty and just need freshened, so this is perfect. The machine offers many cycles and options and is easy to use. The option for an extra rinse is very helpful with towels. The only feature that I dislike is that you cannot adjust the spin speed on the Normal setting. Therefore, I can't use the Normal setting. It spins so fast (high) that the vibration is terrible.
The reason for the three stars is that our machine reads "level" but often vibrates, moves and has to find a balance. Is this a normal problem with front loaders? Is this machine really "second-floor" ready? I told the salesman from the start that it was going on a second floor and I have had several delivery and installation people here. I constantly feel like something isn't right. I wonder if this machine should only be on concrete basement floor? Sadly, I'm not sure that we are done calling for service...
Many people have said Speed Queen is the best and rarely needs to be repaired. I wish we could figure out these other issues because I just want to enjoy this expensive machine.

2nd Brand New SQ Front Load Washer
Great washer if it could be correct the first try! :(( First machine didn’t have it a day and the gasket WAS NOT ATTACHED AND RIPPED MY HAND MADE BLANKET that took me 2 months to make. The store swapped it for a second machine- great. 2 weeks past. The 2nd machine door lock had issues from GO and continued to have errors struggling to engage. New parts had to need ordered to fix the BRAND NEW 2nd washer. The pedistal is missing screws so the machine goes for a jig. Other than that it works amazing once the BUGS are gone. The dryer fits king size bedding. The washer does 2 rinses so no residue. Gear drive motor solid parts otherwise. Good thing for the warranty. Looking forward to no more issues! Hope to love it then. Service workers are working to make repairs no charge. Going on week 3 of ownership.

Leaks water out of the door at the 6 o’clock position, shakes and was told by service it is most likely the struts. Not good for a high priced machine.
