I absolutely love my Speed Queen Washer it is hands down the best brand I've ever owned. The only issue I have with it I have keep checking to see when it has completed it's cycle because it is so quiet.

Great dryer
This is a very nice dryer. I sometimes have trouble with the sensing mode on heavier items, especially items that require lower heat settings, and I'm still trying to decide if I should use sensing or just timed dry on gentle cycle.

I cannot recommend this brand enough
I COULD NOT LOVE THIS DRYER ANY MORE THAN I DO!!!! With the “ energy efficient” dryers my clothes were never actually getting completely dry. With the speed queen, my clothes are completely dry in a short amount of time and they smell so good. I could not be happier with this purchase. I will never buy another brand of washer or dryer again. Thank you for making such an excellent product.

Dries clothes quickly!
I’m happy I made the switch to Speed Queen. This dryer works very well, gets hot (instead of lukewarm) is quiet, and the filter is easy to clean. Oh, and a handle that won’t snap off like my old LG dryer handle did. It may be on the pricey side, but when you divide the cost by the number of times the dryer is used over the years, it works out to just a tiny amount per use.

Best on the market
I couldn’t wait to have a speed queen dryer. No more repair calls, no more noisey dryer. My clothes come out softer and less wrinkles. Next year I will get a speed queen washer. Don’t wait, spend the money, you won’t be disappointed.

Best value hands down.
Got it to replace my somewhat short lived Maytag. And to complement my Speed Queen wash machine that replaced an even shorter lived Maytag. I'm done throwing good money after bad.
I expect the Speed Queen to live up to its reputation of a long life. Plus, both that washer and dryer do an excellent job. My wife loves that steam option on the dryer also. Saves a lot of ironing.

A Speed Queen Dryer I Can Rely On!!
The Speed Queen line is well respected for dryers and washers. These are considered "commercial" because they can handle large as well as small loads; and should last for many years. I own the Speed Queen Washer for 15+ years, but its matching dryer is no longer made. Nevertheless, I selected the current model dryer because of a very positive experience with the washer.

I love it!
So far I love it! It dries clothes quickly, quiet, no issues. I do wish it opened from the top. I don't like how clothes, especially socks fall out of it when I open it. That's the only change I would make.

Speed Queen is the best
Love Speed Queen - Bought a new dryer in May of 2025. It works great and love the extra features. Just bought the matching washing machine Jan 2026, I love it too. It washes great, is very quiet and has nice features for washing. Love the commercial grade.

We purchased the Speed Queen dryer based on ratings and SQ company reputation (US made). It dries well but sometimes clothes are still slightly damp. I use the normal (not hottest) heat setting. It would be nice if the machine had a trimmer adjustment to slightly alter the built in sensors setting At first glance the machine appears to be old school mechanical controls with rotary knobs and 2 black buttons. However the "buttons" are touch sensors and the rotary controls emit a "beep" when turned even when machine is off so there is some electronics working in the background. The build quality seems very good, durability remains to be seen. (A 5 year review would be more telling)
Lastly the manual mentions an optional shoe drying rack but there doesn't appear to be a way to install one.
