Simple, no nonsense consistent and reliable. Should have saved myself the headaches and bought this unit as my first, decades ago. It'd probably still be serving me today!

Good Durability.
I purchase the washer to replace the old washer that was left in the home I purchased. I definitely needed a new washer. And the fact that this could possibly be the first and last washer I could possibly own was a great thought.

Simple but awesome
Bought this Speed Queen after our Samsung washer broke down after not owning for much more than 5 years. It was bigger than this Speed Queen but we can fit more in this washer. It is much faster too. Gets our clothes cleaner too. I can’t say enough good things about it. Best washer we’ve ever had I think.

Excellent so far!
Havent had long time, but finding this basic machine is great! Its simple, has a lid opening no lock! Add detergent to drum of mach. I was so excited had to keep looking in for bubbles lol. I got rid of my HE whirlpool that took hours was one load! This washed my clothes in 30 minutes. Love it!!

By far, the best washing machine I've ever owned. The cycle time is fast, it's not loud, easy to operate, spin cycle is efficient and the clothes come out super clean. I will never consider another brand.

I Iove everything! We got sick of cheaper washing machines with digital displays from big box stores that were constantly breaking down, and no qualified repairmen within 100 miles. We went to our local appliance shop, looking for a simple washer, nothing digital, with local certified repairmen. I knew that would be a speed queen. Features: deep fill option that actually fills with water over a foot deep,the drum moves while the agitator goes back and forth, so my husband’s work clothes actually smell clean for the first time ever, it doesn’t shut off when slightly unbalanced and will complete every cycle, even if unbalanced, it’s quiet, and even the heavy duty cycle with an extra rinse finishes in less than one hour! Let’s not forget about the 5 year warranty, which is unheard of with other brands. This simple machine wasn’t cheap, but I firmly believe that you get what you pay for with large appliances The only con is that all speed queens come with a 3.2 capacity drum. but our clothes are clean and nothing gets ruined in the process, and that’s what counts! After years of cheaply made washers breaking down after 2-3 years, I will stick with Speed Queen.

My New Favorite
I LOVE my new Speed Queen top load washer! It is my first Speed Queen purchase and it has gone above and beyond by expectations. My clothes come out so much cleaner and brighter than ever before. Wonderful machine
We were tired of the computer based, agitatorless “modern” machine we had. It had locked lid, too many & confusing cycles. But I do wish this machine was strictly mechanically based as there is a small computer under the controls. But so far all is great!

so far so good good friend who works on appliances recommend for quality and longevity of them like all old washers used to be fills to top and actually washes extremely well would defently suggest spending the few extra $$ to get
