There are 2 new improved features that I noticed when we bought the units, the washer drain being in front and the light inside the dryer. We also noticed that it is quieter and seems to be more efficient with the sensor features on both the washer and the dryer. The different wash cycles are a plus too. My husband does all the maintenance on our appliances and says these W/D are easy to maintain. These are a few of the reasons we like Whirlpool products and will continue buying them.
