The clothes come out super clean and the spin cycle does a terrific job of wringing out the excess water so dry time is reduced. The machine is built much sturdier than our previous LG washer, the controls are very nice and easy to operate. This was a great choice. I am in the habit of leaving the door ajar after wash loads are done to air dry the basket cylinder and the door gasket (seems to prevent musty odor and discoloration of the door seal). My previous machine had a catch/notch for the door placement to keep it slightly ajar which was handy. This machine does not have a similar catch. It's easy enough to just leave it slightly ajar but if I was asked for recommendations the door catch would be one (really minor) add that I would mention. I totally recommend this machine. I am very pleased. When the LG dryer quits working (likely soon - the washer lasted only 5 years of very light use by 2 adults) I will buy the matching Whirlpool Dryer.
