Nice Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for two weeks now and it seems to be doing the job. We did pay for professional installation and the only issue is a hammering effect with the supply hoses. This is typical for some pipes when they have air in them which should not be the case with the supply hoses. These are new hoses that came with the machine. We are going to get larger diameter hoses and see if it resolves the issue. They jump and make a noise like hammering when the water is being called for and turned off. I will give it 5 Stars if replacing the hoses fixes the issue. Right now, because of that I am only giving it 4 stars.

Finally I decided to treat myself to a set that was both a totally new to me brand but had every bell and whistle I could find. Bingo! First of all this Whirlpool is simply stunning. Washes very good leaves clothes almost dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very excited with my whirlpool washer it has a large load capacity and the top stays open on its own was a big plus for me very different from my old washer a big upgrade even though I was a bit disappointed it has no time shown to see how long it has left to finish cycle but It is worth it after the cycle is done it leaves the clothes semi dry so when it dries up it finishes quick. The top door looks very elegant love the look of the pair washer and dryer They look smaller but they fit alot of clothes and has many features to operate for the washing machine. So far I have no complaints even for installing the washer was very easy I found a video online and it was a breeze to install both the washer and dryer together. I had to purchase an extra hose to add to my dryer and washer together but It is simple just follow instructions to extend the life of the product and to understand how everything works and the buttons. So far so good very happy with my washer I have done many loads in less time than my other washer and dryer took over two hours for just one load before now Ive washed 3 loads now and drying last one highly recommend.

The load is large enough to do my laundry each week in one load. This washer replaced a much older Whirlpool cambrio washer, and Info like this one better. I also really appreciate the “no smart “ technology and just a hood old Whirlpool workhorse washer! I don’t need my laundry to be using any kind of “smart” tech to notify when its finished! The only thing — its very minor— I note is odd that the door eventually slides back open after I close it to run the cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying to repair first our washer and then our dryer, my husband and I decided it was time to replace and upgrade our washer and dryer. After researching the different brands online and features of the new machines out there, we decided on the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with Impeller and 7.0 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Electric Dryer with Moisture Sensor in black. We have always liked Whirlpool, and the set we had before our previous replacment set was a Whirlpool and it lasted almost 20 years.
What drew me to the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with Impeller was that it was a top loader that had an easy-view full-width slow-close glass lid. I liked this added feature as it let me check on my laundry while it was being washed. This washing machine also offers the option to select deep water wash option which adds more water to your for bulky item washing (i.e. comforters and big blankets, etc.) I really like how the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with Impeller has sensors and knows just how much water you need for each particular wash, making it a true Energy-star machine. My previous washing machine always took forever to complete a wash cycle as it always added a lot of water even if it didn't need it. I could either choose small, medium or large loads and oftentimes went with large as I would fill it 3/4 of the way full and wanted to make sure all the laundry detergent was washed out -- but, this also meant I was using more water than needed most time, which wasn't really energy or cost efficient.
Another feature of this washing machine that I liked was that it had a Smooth Spiral Stainless Steel Wash Basket. I can't tell you how many times I have had to wiggle clothes free from our previous washer as it had the large impeller in the center and clothes always got stuck under or around the spindle area and would snack. Also, after time with clothes with buttons or zippers, it would snag this washing pieice and make it sharp in areas, thus in turn making small holes in clothing as it spun the clothes around. This washing machine also has a smooth impeller which is designed so that the clothes you add to the wash basket have more space to spin and move about. It also drives the clothes from the outer rim to the center, for a deeper clean. My previous machine didn't have this feature.
I really like the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with Impeller and all its' features, and am so happy I upgraded to this Energy-Efficient washing machine. And, by pairing it with the 7.0 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Electric Dryer with Moisture Sensor also in black, the set looks so nice and stylish in our laundry room. Just like with the Whirlpool washer, the 7.0 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Electric Dryer with Moisture Sensor has many great features that make this a no brainer when choosing your next washer and dryer sets. A few features that stand out that I just had to share about are the air only cycle, option for a steam refresh cycle, moisture sensing and wrinkle shield option.
This top loader dryer uses sensors just like with the washing machine to sense how long your load needs to dry without over-drying. And, when you add in the wrinkle shield option, if you forget to take your clothes out, you don't need to worry about pulling the clothes out and being all wrinkled, but having a continual tumbling cycle ends. You can also use a timed dry setting for extra drying when needed, but I have yet had to use this option as the clothes always come out toasty warm and dry.
The two cool features I really like of this dryer is steam refresh, which allows you use water and heat to the dryer to help release wrinkles, so you don't have to deal with the need to rewash. The Air only option lets you fluff and refresh your load just with air. This is great for drying delicates like undergarments or even stuffed animals.
The 7.0 Cu. ft. capacity offers plenty of room for even the largest of loads. I like how I can finally dry my duvet covers, comforters and oversized blankets at home in my own dryer, instead of needing to bring them to a local laundromat.
If you are in need of a new washer and dryer, I highly recommend you check out the 7.0 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Electric Dryer with Moisture Sensor and the 5.3 Cu. Ft. Whirlpool® Top Load Washer with Impeller. I am so happy we went with this set, and I can't stop raving about them with friends and family. Highly recommend.

So many features, and still so easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best part is the size: I love being able to do all my laundry in one load!! But the easy-to-use features are just as awesome. Each feature is clearly labeled and makes a ton of sense as to when I would want to use each one. And although I was originally worried about not having an agitator to move the clothes during the cycle, the glass top quickly relieved my fears, as I can watch the clothes shuffle past each other, getting a good scrubbing in the process. So happy with my new washer!
