Compact Footprint, Big Capacity, and Impressive Ve
I was a little worried when I first purchased this Compact Laundry Tower after reading some reviews mentioning excessive noise, water leaks, and concerns about the ventless heat pump drying system. After using it for several loads, however, I have to say that I absolutely love it.
The washer cleans very well, and I do not find it excessively noisy. It is a washing machine, after all, so some operating noise is expected. In fact, I have noticed that it seems to have gotten quieter after the first few loads, almost as if everything needed a little time to settle in.
What has impressed me the most is the ventless heat pump dryer. I was skeptical about how well it would perform compared with my old vented dryer, but it has handled everything I have put in it, including bulky towels, regular clothing, and bed linens. Everything has come out completely dry in what I consider a normal amount of time compared with my previous vented washer and dryer set.
I also really like the modern interface. The entire laundry tower has a clean, minimalist appearance and honestly looks like a modern piece of functional art. The automatic detergent and fabric softener dispensing is another feature I really appreciate. On my first load, it did not seem like much detergent was being dispensed, and I suspect the system may have been priming itself. On the second load, I set the detergent dispensing level to maximum, and it has worked well since then.
One of the main reasons I chose this laundry tower was its compact footprint. Unfortunately, many modern washers and dryers have become huge and bulky and simply would not fit in my laundry closet. Years ago, I switched to stackable machines so I could preserve some space next to them for a broom and laundry storage area. It is surprising how difficult it has become to find compact machines with a decent capacity.
My previous washer, which I purchased about 21 years ago, had approximately a 3.0 cu. ft. capacity and fit perfectly in the same space. Most compact washers available today seem to be around 2.4 cu. ft., which I really did not want. When I found this model with a 2.7 cu. ft. washer capacity, or 2.8 cu. ft. as stated on the Energy Guide, it seemed like one of the best options available for my space.
I have been very impressed with the actual usable capacity. The tub is surprisingly spacious and deep, and I have been able to do laundry exactly the way I normally would without breaking everything into multiple smaller loads. I typically separate whites, darks, and colors, and so far I have had plenty of room to spare.
The washer/dryer sync feature is also very convenient. In most cases, the dryer has finished its load before the washer finishes the next one, so the overall laundry process moves along very efficiently.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this laundry tower. It feels solidly built, has a very compact footprint without sacrificing much usable capacity, performs well, and looks great. Do not let its smaller exterior dimensions fool you. The washer and dryer are both surprisingly roomy.
Time will tell how reliable it is over the long term. With modern appliances, I usually purchase the longest extended warranty available, typically five years, simply for peace of mind. Hopefully this laundry tower will serve me as well as my previous one, which lasted 21 years.

Great Whirlpool Laundry Stack!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer dryer is finally here. Took a while to arrive but worth the wait. For its size I’m shocked how much I can fit in it. I did a quick clean before i used it for the first time and it was very easy to do. Has many modern features and the reliability of the Whirlpool name. Very happy with this product.

Take a Splash, with Whirlpool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely Amazing Product! Sometimes we let the kiddos use it! It's phenomenal & literally does the job for you! The wife loves to use it & it gives her a reason to do laundry; which is fine with me. Installation is some of the easiest around; you get what you pay for. Space is also amazing as it's an top & below product. Plus, the efficiency is just top tier; absolutely beautiful & amazing. The heating element & washing capacity is some of the most high tech around as well! If you haven't tried it yet, please do! (((:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tested this Whirlpool laundry tower for a few months now and here’s my verdict. So far, this washer and dryer combo is quite good. I was pleasantly surprised by how compact it is, which is exactly what I needed for my small laundry room. The build quality looks excellent and high quality. However the washer function was a bit louder than I had expected. The functions are easy to navigate and I appreciate that the detergent dispenser opens fully. This laundry tower is more on the pricier side so if you have the budget and need something compact then I would recommend getting this for your home.

Think Twice
I am very unhappy with my new Whirlpool washer and dryer. I was excited to receive it, but it has been a disappointment. The washer is much louder than I expected, especially during the spin cycle, and it doesn’t perform the way I thought a brand-new machine should. I expected a reliable, high-quality appliance, but my experience has not met those expectations.
I would not recommend this product based on my experience and hope Whirlpool addresses these issues for future customers.
