I am replacing version 1 locks with this version 2. So easy. Install was simple and well explained. Nice to now have the WiFi modules in the lock and not a wall wart. Integrates with the August app seamlessly. Simple istall and simple app set up.

Simple and clean. Works great!
pretty straightforward install. Most difficult thing was learning that I had to invite family as "guests" to provide access to all Yale locks in the house. But super pleased with how well it works and looks great!

Best digital lock

Functionality wise it’s much better than the big brand lock I had. Love the Bluetooth capability so you can control from your phone and let guests in with unique codes!

I can’t go back to a regular lock!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is so simple, yet has the functionality and safety of a regular deadbolt lock. It’s so nice to be able to leave the house carrying a toddler and bag and only push a button instead of carrying and using a key to lock while juggling everything else. It provides peace of mind that I can no longer be locked out of my house if I lost or left my keys inside. The Apple Watch compatibility is also so handy!

So easy to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in somewhat of a rural town, but have family that comes over often, and everyone just lets themself in. Previously we just made everyone keys, but that is a lot of work and keeping track of keys is a joke. I love that with the Yale - Assure Lock 2, Key-Free Touchscreen Lock with Wi-Fi in Satin Nickel allows me to give app access or keypad access to my Mom, my Nieces, my Brother In Law or as many guests as I want. I don’t have to worry when I go out of town, my brother can swing by and feed the cats for us without worrying about a key. My Mom can run by and grab the things I forgot to bring to soccer practice and I don’t have to worry about meeting up first.
The Yale - Assure Lock 2 connected effortlessly to our Wi-Fi and I can also control it with my other smart home devices. The lock itself is very sleek and has a nice deign in Satin Nickel, as you can see my lower handle is still gold but that came with the house and will be changing to match soon. I have an older style keypad door lock on our rear door and now I definitely want to update it to match too.
In our area you can give delivery drivers an access code to set your packages inside, this would work great for that feature, but I am still warming up to the idea of giving someone access to my home. The app gives you so many options to customize your home security. It shows you what codes have been used for entry so you know whose home, you can check the status of the door, whether it is open or closed, you can also lock and unlock it right from the app. No more worrying if I locked the door, I could check from the app and lock it if needed. It auto-locks after we shut the door, which is great for tired, forgetful people. If you have ever locked yourself out of your vehicle or house, then you know how frustrating it can be. One simple way to make life a little easier.

Makes life easier

We replaced and older deadbolt and this has been a night and day difference. We were lucky enough to receive it free from Influenster and Yale to try. It also looks amazing! Pretty dang easy to install with helpful installation videos.

When unboxing the lock and going through the provided accessories for installation, you can tell that its a quality made product. After briefly looking through the instructions I was truly impressed. I don't think I've ever had a product that made installation as clear and precise as this lock. Scan the code on your phone and download the app. Once installation is complete then your life is easier!

Love this lock!

The BEST!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second key free lock and this one knocks my first away. This lock is fantastic! The setup was easy enough. Downloading the app you can add profiles to the others in your home so everyone is able to enter key free.
You can even give out guest keys for any visitors you want to have access to your home but for a limited time.
This lock is genius ! I love it and highly recommend it! It’s so convenient not having to dig down to the bottom of my bag for my keys.

One downside is that the lock is powered by batteries, so it is important to make sure the batteries are always replaced before they run out to avoid any inconvenience. Super easy to install and the instructions Another great feature is the ability to lock and unlock the door using the keypad or with the Yale app on my smartphone which is very convenient, and also it allows me to give access to other people without having to give them a physical key. In overall, I think the Yale Assure Front Door Lock is a great option for anyone looking for a secure and convenient way to lock and unlock their front door.

No you need a lock with zwave.

How much time does the battery Last?
Not long enough. I have to change out the batteries every 2-3 months. Battery life is terrible. The locks and app don’t give you warnings that the batteries are running low. I’ve had two of my locks become unusable, couldn’t unlock them from the keypad or the app, because the batteries just died without warning. I would never buy these locks again.
