Love this cooler. I purchased the “30” soft cooler. I’m a trucker and after placing my beverages & ice inside the ice melted almost completely by the fourth day. I literally fill it with ice on my Monday & by Thursday it’s still ice left at the bottom & beverage still cold. Nice strong magnetic strip to create a tight seal, very well constructed inside & out. Strong straps. Really impressed with my cooler.

It performs where others fail
I bought this in Canada for travel back to N. California. It worked great. Kept all of my frozen items well insulated, easy to manage, and most of all dependable. It gets a bit heavy on the shoulder when fully loaded, but very secure. Good purchase.

Best bag ever
Bought the M30 Dec 30th. Perfect for duck blind! One bag of ice kept our drinks and sausage for grilling very cold! Mouth of bag stays open and closes tight with gentle push. Really like the heavy duty Yeti ice scoop, easily digs deep into ice bag!

Can't use prior version. Can't keep it open
As others have said, I have the older version of this cooler before the flap. It was an expensive gift, but you can't use it unless you have two people. You cannot put things in or take them out as there is no way to keep the bag open. It just snaps shut. I feel that yeti should offer a replacement with the newer version of the bag. Mine has never been used and has remained in my attic. A huge waste of money for my kids who purchased it as a gift

Beautiful quality cooler
I had the original version of this Yeti. The zipper was coming apart so we contacted Customer Support. They requested us to return the product. After review, they sent me the new M30 as a replacement. I'm very happy with the quality of what I received and have no problems loading and unloading the unit. The customer service experience was unbeatable. Thank you!

I am EXTREMELY happy with my new cooler. I had the Hopper 20 and loved it but the zipper malfunctioned and I was able to exchange it for this new one. One of the many reasons I love Yeti. Their customer service is exemplary.

I cannot believe some people are telling me this need 2 people to load or unload the bag. This is a great bag and believe I been in the beach with cooler with wheels and is too heavy and the wheels don’t work in the sand so I opted yo to use this one instead and go lighter.

One of the best, most used gifts I ever received.
Great cooler for road trips and travel. Took on a 2-week road trip when we first got it as a gift. Kept our food and drinks cold for the entire trip. Filled w/ ice each night at hotels or used ice packs. Kept everything cold for days without changing out ice. It gets plenty of use.

Beautiful and tough
This is the best soft cooler ever. It is beyond tough and it is beautiful. I think those folks who have left bad reviews due to their difficulty loading the bag have lost their minds. M30 loads easy. I think the difficulty may come from having a “throw the lid open” hard lid expectation for a soft lid bag. The M30 is simply awesome. Ignore the bad loading reviews you will love this bag.

Best cooler I've ever brought
I'm a locomotive engineer for the railroad. Being on duty for 12hrs up and 12hrs backI brought this cooler a few months ago and love it specially that I was able to get it in my favorite color PINK. I'm love this color able to pack plenty of food and drinks yeah it's a little bulky but I love thinking about getting the m20 for when in the yard but in black cause the pink can get pretty dirty but nothing a little soap and water can clean.i am tickled though about the reviews about not able to open it. It's easy to open and mines stay open. I feel magnetic strips is doing its job..it stays close and no leaks. Yeti good job on this cooler..leave it the way it is.

Love it!!
Just received my Hopper 30 in Nordic Blue and it’s just fantastic!! Super easy access and very spacious for a long day with family on the beach, when I read the horror stories about the magnetic system was a little skeptical to buy, but I decided to try as some others had no issues and I’m very pleased with my Hopper 30, I have no idea what others are talking about how difficult is to open or to load, I’m a petit woman and I could open, load and unload it with no problem. I will recommend this 100%.

Worth the investment
Bought it with vacation in mind and it didn’t disappoint. It kept two bags of ice solid for about 24 hours. It kept out drinks cold for 3 days. Well worth it for a soft cooler. Easy to carry to the beach. The 100 degree heat didn’t phase it at all

Solid Drink Carrier for a Day Trip
Solid construction with great ice retention. This is a great day trip bag for the drinks for a family of 4. You might be able to squeeze some food in there too but the design of this bag is much more geared toward drinks in the bottom with ice around/on-top. Note that it can get heavy when fully loaded.

Totally Impressed! Kept food frozen for 10 hours
We were flying from US to an out island of the Bahamas with change of planes and 2 hour layover. Meat is expensive in the islands and I heard that people bring their own meat. We put the Yeti hopper to the test. I stuffed it with frozen steak, chicken, pork, sausages abd deli meats. We even landed and kept the cooler in a hot car for a half hour while we ran in the store on the way to our villa. To my surprise we got to our final destination and all the meat was still frozen solid 10 hours later! We didn’t even use ice packs! Love this cooler!

Use it more than my Tundr
Was hesitant about this cooler after seeing some reviews. I got it in the mail and saw how big it was and was thinking I wouldn't use it as much. Thought it was too big. I have Yeti Tundras in the 35 and 50 model, but I find myself using this M30 more than those! Actually I don't think I have used a hard cooler this year! It fits plenty of drinks, ice, and food. I have spent full days on the water and packed this cooler for 2 and I am extremely happy. I was worried about the dark color impacting the ice retention, but I can usually expect 2-3 days, even after opening it constantly.
I added a Sidekick to it and thought it was a gimmick at first. Honestly, I love it. Being able to put my phone, keys, wallet, sunglass case, etc in it makes it much easier loading and unloading the boat. No more carrying a separate dry bag or dry box! Just one cooler and dry bag in one.
I'm not one to typically write reviews. I love all Yeti products, even though I thought they were way too expensive at first. But this soft cooler is awesome. It's easier to handle than a hard cooler and works just as good at holding ice.

Perfect. Wife loves it!

Finally perfect!
We have had the previous gen cooler for awhile now. It was a fantastic cooler except for being a little difficult to load/unload. This version fixes that perfectly.
I don’t understand everyone leaving this model a bad review. Items change overtime & problems get fixed. Not everything needs an exchange program. It wasn’t “broken” or anything like that. It had the difficult opening when everyone bought it to begin with. They could have returned it if it was so bad.
Buy this cooler. Worth every penny.

The wait paid off!
I was going to buy the older version last year but decided to wait because of the complaints about the magnet. The wait paid off and I immediately bought the new and improved version earlier this month. I’ve used the cooler multiple times already and have had zero problems with the opening. I can understand the frustration of some reviewers who own the old version, but their review of the current cooler is invalid. If you are thinking about buying this new cooler, know the problem is fixed and loading/retrieving drinks is a breeze. My only complaint is the $50 price hike.

You asked - they listened!
This is our third yeti. First two had the zipper tops, both ripped. They made the magnet top M20 but I waited because it had mixed reviews about loading. Just received the revised 2022 and its PERFECT! Easily stays open, and the magnet are STRONG. Also comes with another strap that clips over the top for extra sealing while traveling. High five YETI!

Hopper M30 Soft Cooler
Love it! This soft cooler is everything that I need it to be. Easy to fill, love the magnetic closure, and the added convenience of being able to hand carry or slide it over my shoulder. Keeps everything nice and cold/frozen using the YETI ice. Great product!
