LOVE MY NEW YETI!!
Went on a two day road trip from MA to SC with cooler for our snacks and lunches and was fantastic! Kept my cold stuff, cold for two days!! Didn’t even have to replace ice.

Keeps ice for days!

Hands-down, the best cooler I’ve ever used!
This cooler is absolutely amazing!! I’ve heard the hype about Yeti coolers for years, but figured that our old Coleman was good enough and not worth replacing. We finally bought the Yeti, and it was a revolutionary experience. We just went on a 4-day, 3-night camping trip with this cooler - about 15 lbs of ice, a large quantity of beer, and some actual food (mostly milk, string cheese and burgers). Yeti recommends all sorts of tricks to stretch the cooling power, including pre-chilling the cooler, putting a towel over the contents so you don’t have complete air exchange every time you open it, and not keeping it open for very long/not going into it often. We did not do the first two tricks. We didn’t leave the cooler open for excessively long periods of time, but we were not particularly careful about not opening it very often. And yet. By day 2, there was still mostly ice and barely any water. With any other cooler, most of the ice would have melted by then. By day 3, there was some water but still huge chunks of ice. With any other cooler, there wouldn’t be any ice left and the water wouldn’t even be cold. By the time we came home on day 4, there were still sizable chunks of ice and the water was icy-cold. We were EXTREMELY impressed. I think if we pre-chilled the cooler, did the towel trick, put all the beer in a different cooler so we could go in and out of that cooler often and not open the Yeti very much, we could probably get the Yeti to last 5-6 days.

Worth it!
I read a lot of reviews about different cooler brands to see if I could find one that was cheaper and almost as good. I’m so glad I decided to go with a sure thing. I love the size of the 45, it fits in the backseat of my 4runner like I hoped. The cooling capacity is phenomenal. I worried that it would be too heavy for me to lift (60 yo female) but it’s just right. Perfect for my camping adventures!

It’s the perfect size for a cooler that you have to carry. It’s even lighter than I expected. It holds enough cans and the white one is the perfect color for making a sticker cooler out of as most stickers have a white boarder around them.

Great cooler
This is my second yeti cooler. The first was the Tundra Haul, which is great, and the this one, the 45 hard cooler is another awesome cooler. Got this one to pack extra things on trips that wouldn’t fit in the Tundra Haul. It is a bit heavy but the durability and the longevity of the coldness it retains is amazing. Little bit of ice goes a long way. I know i could’ve gotten the biggest one, but sometimes it’s easier to fit 2 smaller coolers in back of the pickup that’s also packed with other crap because we’re headed to our kids baseball game and we need chairs and canopies and food and bats and balls and all kinds of other stuff back there. Overall, these Yetis are great!
