Love. Love. Love my Bosch Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Bosch dishwasher. The first one was wonderful. My new one is absolutely incredible. We were told that it was very quiet. That was such an understatement! You can stand right in front of it and not hear a thing.
The dishes come out so spotless that I never gave to wipe them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this dishwasher!! I maybe love it too much. LOL It is exciting to unload my dishes and wow at how clean they are. Our old dishwasher wasn't getting our dishes clean, so I did my research and purchased this model.
What do I like about it? First and foremost how clean my dishes get.
2. The cleaning arm that moves in multple directions
3. The variety of settings
4. How quiet it is!!! My family kept opening it to put dishes in when the dishwasher was running, because they couldn't hear/tell it was in a wash cycle. There is a red light that stays on and shines on the floor when it is running, so that helps.
5. The connectivity. The app alerts me to any problems that arise during a wash cycle (like a dish or utensil blocking a wash arm) and lets me know when the cycle is complete. The dishwasher can also be turned on remotely from the app.
6. It's gorgeous inside and out
7. The customization of the racks is awesome! The middle rack has two levels it can be at, and the top silverwear rack has drop down functions on each side to provide for more room as needed.
8. It comes with a silverwear basket, but it really isn't needed with how useful the top rack is. I'm glad that I have a basket option if needed, however.
9. The plate prongs on the bottom rack hold plates perfectly in place and perfectly apart so that they can get clean.
10. Prongs can be laid down of lifted up om bottom and middle racks to fit your needs.
11. The prongs and racks are a strong METAL. My previous dishwasher had weak prongs that were prone to breakage.
12. The door is heavy and shuts tight.
13. Having the control panel on the top end of the door prevents me or my kids from accidently bumping into buttons and starting or ending a cycle inadvertantly.
14. I'm happy that this model comes in white; I prefer white over the cold-look and fingerprint prone stainless steel.
15. I was told by the installer that this model is one of the longest lasting dishwashers.
16. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. I've had it about 5-6 weeks now, and I still get giddy over this dishwasher. LOL

Soooo Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the very best dishwasher my wife and I have purchased during our almost 40 years of marriage. The dishwasher is very quiet to the point that we depend on seeing the red light on the floor to show it's running, as well as when the light goes out to signal it's finished.
We have read the owners manual to familiarize ourselves with the different wash cycles and have not been disaappointed with the wash results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked the Bosch series 800 after looking at GE Cafe brand to match our Fridge but the reviews were so bad I had no other choice. We knew Bosch was a very respected brand but were worried about matching appliances. After the installation we had no regrets and wouldn't have changed our decision for any other brand. The quiet cycles, the ease of use and quality of the clean our dishes get is unsurpassable. I'm taking a victory lap for choosing Bosch over every other brand we reviewed. And in reality it mathces well with the Cafe Fridge.

The machine is so quiet that the only way to tell if it's on or completely done is the small light shining on the floor, red or green. The extra small shelf on top is brilliant!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacing a 12-year-old KitchenAid top-of-the-line model which was excellent but worn out. This new Bosch is quieter, and finally, much better at drying. It is a pleasure to remove silverware, plasticware, etc. which now is 100% dry compared to the previous machine. Totally satisfied with performance, but wish the basket for holding silverware or small objects were designed differently. Current basket is too small, requiring purchase of a third-party replacement. Third shelf on top for us is useless, and should be made removable.

Love it but. . .

The only comment we have is that there should be some light that tells you when it is finished rather have when the light is off on the bottom. If it had someway of notifying you that it was finished other people in the house would know that the dishes are cleaned and ready to be taken out rather then if they are dirty inside.

EXCELLENT 800 Dishwasher - TERRIBLE User Interface
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BOSCH should fire three people in the Dishwasher Sector: 1) the person who decided to remove the DELAY button, 2) the person who decided to use HOME-CONNECT to control the dishwasher, and 3) the person who approved the decisions.
The dishwasher deserves at least a 5-star rating. However, the wifi user interface is so complicated that it would probably never be used if the DELAY feature was available.
An ADDITION to the normal operation which should be removed is the need to push the START button each time the door is opened when either the dishwasher is in operation or the DELAY START has been activated.
My wife informed that I am not allowed to die first, because she would never be able to operate the dishwasher except in the immediate start mode.
I replaced a 14 year old series 500 which until its failure had operated FLAWLESSLY. Obviously it incorporated the DELAY feature which had been available on my multiple dishwashers for several decades.
An absolutely EXCELLENT engineering device has, because of "ENHANCEMENTS", become a source of nightly fustration and concern if the DELAY START will actually work.

Best Dishwasher We've Owned
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like that it actually washes the dishes. We only scrape the plates and dishes, and they come out sparkling. We really like the top rack for putting odd-shaped utensils along with regular flatware. Lastly, it does a good job drying even plastic. One thing we don't like is the black rubber apron not staying in place on the bottom, as it hides the red light that shines on the floor when in operation.

The new Bosch is sleek and blends in well with the decor. The shelves are functional and convenient.

Not as good as I expected
What I don't like about this dishwasher: having to manually clean the filter; instructions for cleaning the filter are not applicable to my model; the silverware basket is too small; the top most rack is too shallow to hold anything useful; there's no indication that the dishwasher has clean dishes in it; the soap dispenser is hard to close.

I am very unhappy and disappinted with this dishwasher. It turns on by itself, is hard to navigate the way too many options, drying is spotty, and i don't like the top rack for sliverware and knives. I liked my old Bosch dishwasher, which died after 15 years.
