Great Features

Purchase for small home kitchen

Looks good and easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and looks good. Super easy install. Took about all of 15 minutes. Quality is pretty good although the last one only lastd about 5 years the price point is good. Will probably buy again but hopefully this one ats a little longer.

I watched the installer take out my old microwave and install the new one. From the time he pulled up in front of my house until he walked out of my house with my old microwave it took a grand total of 20 minutes for him to install my new microwave. He left not one iota of mess when he left. I was impressed!

It Does Just What I Need It To
I have bought this exact microwave twice because I switched apartments. It does everything I want it to. The controls are intuitive. The price was reasonable. I got it in white because that matches most of what's in my kitchen but I might have gotten white anyway because the numbers and lettering are much easier to read than on the black or stainless steel models. I use the instant 1-6 buttons and the 30 second button all the time. It's also easy to punch in an exact desired time like 3:44. I like that it has a grab handle rather than a push button or some hidden release.
I know some people don't like a repeating "done" chime but I do. After it's done, it dings once a minute until you either open the door or press Cancel. The light directed at the stove is not particularly bright but I think that's usually the case. The charcoal filter (if unit is set up to recirculate) requires undoing some screws to change it, so that's somewhat inconvenient, but the grease filters are easily accessible on the underside of the microwave.

Fantastic Microwave for any Family

The capacity is large enough to heat enough food for the entire family. The microwave has a great, sleek look with its stainless steel finish and straight lines. The controls are very simple, straightforward, and easy to use. Installation is both quick and easy. You do not need to be a contractor in order to install this microwave as the included template and wall mount bracket make installation very simple. Ventilation is very flexible as there is an option for any kitchen setup. You can choose from rear exhaust, vertical exhaust, or re-circulation. So there are no worries when installing this item. Anyone looking for a large number of flexible and useless and features should strongly consider this microwave as they will not be disappointed

Have had same type of GE microwave for 12 yrs. This new one needed only minor bolt adjustments by serviceman. Love all its features. The fan motor has a much quieter sound. . . especially on lower speed.

Love upgraded handle!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another GE microwave for many years of great service, so thought it best to replace it with another GE when it finally quit working. This new one is GREAT and I very much apprreciate the strong handle with a real metal plate on the front. I have an "over the range" microwave, and the heat from the stove burners caused damage on the old model's handle. This new handle is very strong and will bear heat from the stove without damaging the finish. I look forward to many years of great service!
