I love our new GE microwave
This model is sleek & pretty, quiet running & I like the arrangement of the pads on the control panel. It has the traditional arrangement of the number pads. Numbers 1-6 are "Express Cook" which means with just one press you can start the oven going that number of minutes on high. I also like the white interior which has mostly flat, easy-to-clean surfaces. The light underneath completely illuminates the stove top & has 2 brightness settings. The vent fan is quiet & effective.
The installation went very well. The wall bracket from the previous 18 yr. old oven (different brand) was nearly identical so we were able to reuse it. After installation, I removed the clinging plastic that covered most of the oven front, but missed the one covering the control panel. It fit perfectly, with no air bubbles, so it took a while to realize it was there. I noticed a scratch on it & thought we had already damaged our new oven!
If I could change anything, it would be the brightness of the digital display. It has white numbers that are a little too bright for me. I might add a small piece of dimming sheet to tone it down, which you might want to do if you are also light sensitive.

Well made and looks great
Easy to install was replacing a 13 year old GE unit that had come to the end of life. New unit was an exact fit was able to use the existing bracket and had it installed and working in under 10 minutes. Control panel is easy to use has some nice features like the charcoal filter in the vent.

Liked the controls
We bought this microwave to replace our 12 year old GE microwave that was starting to not always function properly. We got this model because the controls are close to the ones on our old microwave. Hopefully this one will last as long as the last one.

Solid Microwave
GE microwave we had was 16 years old and abruptly quit. Bought this new GE microwave to replace it. Have been using it for a week. Quite and works perfectly. This is the 4th GE microwave installation I've done for myself and others. Overall, quite easy to do. Thus far, very pleased with this new microwave.

Great Microwave & Great Service
This is a great microwave. We had to replace the one we had and were very fortunate that we could find one offered in the color we needed, since all our appliances match. There are probably more features on this microwave than we will ever use, but the instructions are easily understood should the need arise to try something new.
