Well-built and Made in America!
I love my new SpeedQueen washer/dryer. My old unit gave out after the agitator actually sheared off during a spin cycle! It wasn't even four years old yet! (It was a GE made in China). My appliance repairman recommended that I purchase a Speed Queen unit. This is my first front load washer which I was hesitant to purchase but it was my only choice for a stacked unit. It is solid, well-made, quiet, and wonderful. I love the fact that it is made in America and will probably outlast me (I'm in my late 60s). It uses less water than my top-loader which is a plus in drought stricken California. I love the different options. And the dryer is great for removing my border collie's pet hair. Don't even think of buying anything else but a Speed Queen for your next purchase!

Not installed correctly!!!
My stackable Washer/Dryer was not installed as I asked and intended. I gave saleswoman dimensions of my laundry closet and asked what I would need for installation. She only told me exhaust tube, not electrical connection for dryer. Sales people need to be trained better on products they sell. Now I cannot find anyone recommended by SQ Support that can change the exhaust to a side vent. I am very dissatisfied with the installation. Doors cannot be closed because stackable unit sits out too far because exhaust was installed in back. Companies that sell your product should be trained and know how to install. If a product is not installed correctly, it is not going to be a happy user. I like the product but could not recommend because of poor service in area.
