Great customer service
Bought a 10,000btu unit a couple years ago and it was everything as advertised and when it came time to replace one of my older (non-windmill) units, I wanted to get a second windmill. Bought in August, but after installing, the unit had loud background noise from the compressor. Got into the chat with customer service and they walked me thru several checks to see if we could remedy my problem. After exchanging several videos and not being successful in fixing the noise issue, they put thru an order to give me a replacement unit. Easy, straight forward, no hassles, just good service.

WOW!!!!
We formerly had a 10,000BTU window A/C unit that had to weigh close to 100lbs. The Windmill 6KBTU was half that weight, easy to install and the app is really cool to control it away from home. And best of all, it cools the living room twice as well as its predecessor.

Windmill really is the best AC now
best AC - quiet!!! smooth!!! - on and off connection only requires one push - and the air blow from the top, not face out - so I dont have cold air blowing directly on me - a feature I love. my favorite AC ever. I now have three of them !

If Form Married Function and had a Child...
After being thoroughly satisfied with the style and function of our first 8K BTU unit, we just installed a new 8K unit in our second bedroom. These ACs are amazingly quiet, efficient and user-friendly. And I love the WiFi connectivity feature through the factory-supplied phone app.One caveat: I had some difficulty connecting both units to WiFi. I forgot how I fixed the issue first time around, so when I reached out to the company for assistance, one of the co-founders replied right away and reminded me that the unit will be looking to make a 2.4G connection. My Google Pro WiFi Hub puts out 2.4G, 5G and 6G signals, so I think it was making it harder for the unit to find the right slot. I did manage to connect (maybe placing my phone a couple inches from the unit during pairing mode helped?) and all is working seamlessly now. As the title of my review suggests, it's the perfect combination of looks and functionality.We purchased this last one at PC Richard for $379 - which is a reasonable price to pay for such a well-designed product.

Quiet, Clean, and Efficient
I got two Windmill AC window units with Whisper Tech. They have been amazing with cooling the entire apartment. I love how easy it is to change and automate the temperature and modes using the mobile app. The units are also quiet with only the occasional sound of turning on. I also got the filter, which has made the air quality noticeably cleaner. Overall, a wonderful purchase!

Ups delivery
Product is great. Up air direction causes overhead fan to rotate which is better for getting over nearby furniture. Very quiet. Easy to install.Ups refuses to read special instructions needed because of construction. Windmill stepped in participing in solving the problem.

Our new AC
A few days ago we received our new air conditioner (the Whisper Tech 8000 BTUs), and we couldn't be happier! It's been a miserable, hot and humid summer for the most part, and our old AC kept freezing up and not working. Windmill customer service was extremely helpful in resolving that. The new AC only took minutes to install and was working perfectly by the time we cleaned up the box material. Now we can cook dinner again... yea!

Far surpassed expectations : )
I don’t usually spend time reviewing products but this one was definitely warranted. Purchased the 12,000 BTU with the hope that it would cool off (at least a little bit) 2 rear bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bath room and it does! And it does it well with both bathroom doors open and the main hallway closed off...which far exceeded my expectations- the rooms are actually really cool. Packaging was A+ and the install painless. It requires no bracket and fits snuggly in the window. It’s been a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier.

Best A/C Unit Ever Made
We sent back a cheaper China-made model to a box store that sold it. It simply didn't work and seemed quite flimsy. We read about Windmill being stationed in the Big Apple, was impressed by what we read, paid more, and are so thoroughly satisfied, we would recommend this unit to everyone!

Great Air Conditioner
This air conditioner is very quiet and was a breeze to install. The APP for your phone is easy to use. We especially love the Auto Fan feature coupled with the ECO setting. Once up to the desired setting, it quietly keeps the room at temperature without hardly seeming to run at all.

Just installed my unit in my home office and it’s an immediate upgrade on my old, basic unit. Looks great, has plenty of insulation, easy setup and control, and quickly cooled down my space and held it as a consistent temp.

The product works great! I ordered the extendable side panels because our windows are 38 inches, but I didn’t need them. The original panels cover the distance just fine. Their customer service was amazing!!

The future of window a/c’s
These Windmill air conditioners set a new standard for the window a/c market. From the non invasive, sleek design and quiet efficient operation, to the second to none customer service and care, they are what all window air conditioners should be from here on out. They don’t cost much more than the old noisy, uneven air, obnoxious ones do either, and with their deals and discounts they are pretty much the same, but you get a much better quality unit, that truly looks good hanging out of your window. To anyone who is in the market for a new window a/c, I would highly recommend the Windmill. We now have 2 and I will not buy anything else.

Love!
Vaulted ceilings and I was skeptical...but it kept my house an amazing 69° during the last heatwave. 12k BTU version. Simple to install. It's pretty quiet, too, which is great for being on work video calls. Love it.

I am so happy with this tiny sleek mighty window unit. After a day of running it felt like I had central air. It’s fabulous. Keeps the whole apartment/ room cool and the air rises so it really feels like central air. It’s sleek and really attractive and very minimalist. I replaced my old ac unit and it is quite the upgrade. Love all the panels too makes it sealed and attractive. Very pleasing to the eye. Keeps you cool. Love being able to control it with my phone. So awesome. Thank you. Truly life changing design for a New Yorker.

Outstanding Customer Service
I am very pleased with this window AC unit. It is very quiet and looks great. The magnetic cover on the front is a great design making it so easy to takeoff and clean the air filter. The windmill app is simple and straightforward, making it easy to use as well. The only problem I had was with the included remote control not working. I contacted customer service and had a reply from Rachel within 10 minutes! She suggested a simple fix, which did not work and so she had a new remote sent out to me which I received within three days. The new remote is working great. Thanks!

A great new A/C unit
This is our second Windmill unit that we own. The first one we got about 5 years ago and has been great in our bedroom. This summer our old wall unit died and I thought I would try Windmill again, only this time I was going to get the largest unit the have. This unit is 120 volt A/C which is nice since our old unit was 240 volt A/C. Now we can put the new unit in our living room window instead of the wall that exhausted into our garage which left the garage like a sauna. This new A/C unit is so quiet that at first after installing it I honestly thought it was broken and not working lol. An extra awesome benefit of this new one too is the iphone app so I can turn it on an hour before we come home from work and have the room cold. These new units are amazing and I will most likey buy another one for our bedroom since it so quiet.

Love our Windmill AC
Needed a new air conditioner after two Friedrich air conditioners stopped working after only three years. Went to our local PC Richard to find a replacement and a customer told us he recently bought a Windmill AC there and it was very quiet. Boy are we glad we took his advice. We bought an 8,000 BTU for our bedroom and it is literally the most quiet AC we've ever had. We highly recommend Windmill for anyone looking for a new AC.

Quiet, Cool, and Apartment Approved
Never thought I’d describe an air conditioner as chic, but here we are. 😆 My bougie Windmill keeps the apartment cool, runs surprisingly quietly, and doesn’t make my window look like every other clunky NYC AC. The app control is a huge plus, and overall it’s been worth every bit of summer sanity.
