I am really happy with this air conditioner.
I love this air conditioner. It is the best one I've ever had. It's super quiet on the Eco mode, and my apartment stays comfortable on Eco fan speed 1. I put it on Eco fan 2 when it was in the middle-late 90's. I've used the Cool setting twice to see what it was like, and it cooled down the apartment to the point where it was chilly in here.

I am in love with this a/c
Three weeks ago my life changed. My portable a/c died in the middle of a heatwave. I read up on a number of window air conditioners and decided I had to have a Windmill. I searched different retailers and discovered that PC Richard could deliver same day - the best $45 I’ve ever spent. Back to the Windmill. It’s beautiful. It’s incredibly quiet - like I don’t have to raise the volume in the TV quiet - like I can sit in my living room and have a phone conversation and don’t have to move to another room to hear quiet. It completely cools the room. When my bedroom a/c unit dies I know exactly what I’m replacing it with. Honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase. If I could give it 10 stars ⭐️ I would!

The best AC I ever had.
Like the title says, it's the best AC I ever had. It cools the room quickly. Its so quiet, I forget that its on. Its well engineered and thoughtfully put together.

This thing is as advertised! Whisper quiet compaired to my other window units (which I’ve replaced with windmills) Thry are a bit pricier than other brands but affordable with PCs interest free financing.

Great air conditioner, vents are on top, though.
Gets very cold, but the vents are on top. So you can’t have it in a window with full curtains because pulling them to the side just facilitates the cold air going between the curtains and the window. Otherwise, this air conditioner keep our apartment bedroom quite chilly! Very efficient, and it looks great!

Great product that is very quiet
Even better than advertised! They said it would be easy to install and would be quiet, and they did not lie, it took less than 15 minutes to install and was so quiet that i wasn't sure it worked till i felt the cool air, works great would definitely buy again

Poor installation.
I think Not installed correctly; rattles/buzzes when compressor changes. Very annoying. And nothing was put in space between lower window and upper window created by lower window being raised to install. Had to do my own filling in . Bugs flying in. A/c itself seems to be very good .

Would not choose this one again
The unit is ok at best, would prefer the air blew out instead of up since it messes with the blinds and lowers my black out shades abilities. Also takes a minute to get going when you turn it on. When it rains and the unit is off the sounds is disturbing and loud, since it is in my bedroom I have to sleep on the couch during rainy nights. I have no idea why there would be so much noise from rain

Would be great, except for a few main issues
I bought this unit for a small studio apartment. It cools the space well, and I like that the air flows from the top of the unit rather than the front, since it is placed in a low window. It is also one of the nicer looking ACs out there. However, the thermostat is very unreliable, making the automations basically useless. The low setting is also the loudest- maybe something is loose in the unit to cause extra noise at this speed, but I hate having to keep it on a high setting just to reduce the noise. Customer service is quick to reply, but not entirely helpful. Really wanted to love it (especially at this price point) but it's just been okay.

Design flaw with temperature sensor
Easy to install, but the temperature gauge consistently reads your room temperature about 10° colder than it actually is. This makes the Eco mode and auto fan completely unusable. It’s also loud. I bought two units, one short-circuited completely out within three days and had to be replaced with an LG dual inverter model, the second one continues to work, but I can’t use Eco mode. Disappointed

This is not quiet!
Bought a month ago. Was enticed by so-called "Whispertech" and their claim that its only slightly louder than being in a library. All I can say is LOL. They are relying on "pretty" looks and easy install to sell what would otherwise be a dud. Wife and I cannot fall asleep with AC while its cooling because its so loud.

Looks great - sounds bad
It's a Sexy unit but the compressor is very loud at times and shakes the whole window when it starts. I complained and windmill sent me a new one and its a little better but still disappointing.

SO NOT WHISPER QUIET!
A/c cooled the room but very loud! Sent video to Windmill they agreed a/c not working properly. Was told to return to PC Richards. Unfortunately only could get store credit PC Richards would not issue a refund.

The Worst AC Ever.
Wow. Like wow in a bad way. Everything about this AC is terrible. Perhaps we got a defective unit (we'll never know since PC Richards said this unit is not eligible for the service program). It sounded like a small motorboat or motorcycle, like something a mouse would use. I often imagined Ralph S. Mouse riding around inside it. We had to put our white noise machine on to drown out the sound of it.
Then there's the actual functioning-- whether you used the eco mode or the constant cool mode, it would make the room alternate between freezing cold and then stuffy and hot, which leads me to my next critique, the temperature settings. Bananas. The higher you set the temp, say 77, the lower it thinks the actual room temp is. I would try to set it to 76 or 77 since I didn't want it super cold, and it would start churning out cold air, but then tell me that the room temp was 66 or 67. None of it makes sense which makes me think we got a defective unit. Unless this is how it works?
Ok, now let's talk about the design. The output vent is on the top of the unit, so when you're pressing the buttons, you're getting a face full of cold air. This set-up also makes the airflow shoot up towards the ceiling which should be great in theory, but in reality it simply makes cold air hit the ceiling and then pour down on your head when you're sleeping. Also, there's a lip that runs along the top edge of the unit, so that you can't see the display when you're standing close enough to press the buttons. You have to bend/kneel down to see the display, which I guess is good since now you're not getting that face full of cold air from the idiotically positioned vents.
I returned it for a u-shaped Frigidaire Gallery. We've slept one night with this new unit and it's a dream come true.

Not good
I am not happy with the unit after 3 weeks of using it. It cools fine, but it is not quiet. The biggest problem I have had with the unit is the thermostat which does not work at all. I set it 82, for example, and the room is 72, and the unit is still running. I set it to 84 or 86, and then it stops running since the room is still 72. Then, it turns on for about 10 seconds once every 1/2 hour, and shots off. In 10 seconds, I am not sure what it is trying to do. So, it is totally a manual AC unit. It also has no light when it is on. So, if the unit is on and not running, you wouldn't know if it is on or not. To figure out if it is on or off, you have to turn it on/off to see what state it is in. For this price, I expected a lot more. Stay away from this unit and this brand.

Noisy unit
If it were up to me, I would hammer this unit and get rid of it. If you're looking for a quiet unit, this definitely is not the one. I have not had comfortable sleep since weve had it. Many reviewers have the same issue. I can't wait for summer to be over so I can get rid of it.

Hardly Whisper Quiet
Not impressed. The motor has a low grinding sound on low setting. Chatted with customer service but no resolution beyond sending them videos of the sound which they never responded to- still waiitng. Disappointed.
