Back to basics and happy about it.
Works really well. I had "upgraded" to a front loader a few years ago and regretted it ever since. Love being able to choose the water level and being sure my clothes are coming out clean.

Great GE Washer
I love this washer! First, it's big or at least big enough for me. Then it allows you to start the water running prior to shutting and locking the lid. Soooo important! It's got a lot of settings but is easy to use. It's also super quiet!

Another great GE product!
Looking forward to many years of great service from this GE Washer that replaced our older Maytag that had given us nothing but trouble. Great to once again have a agitator !

Good purchase
We’re very pleased with our purchase. The washer has a large capacity to wash our king size bedsheets. The controls have a fun tune to it that lets the little kids know when it is starting and finishing. The noise is much quieter than we are expected. My 3yo is still getting use to the lower noise level. I’m still getting use to the water levels. I just leave it on auto, but I think I need to add more water since the baking soda sometimes is stuck to the sides after a load is completed on the really big loads of laundry.

Simple, direct, and gets the job done!
This machine is sweet. The capacity is perfect and the controls are easy to read and run. It has plenty of cycles from delicat thru bulky at all water temperatures and level. We did read other reviews that discussed the noise level and it is loud, but only during the agitation cycle. We can live with that. Its ease of use and great performance makes our lives easier.

The ge washer model GTW485ASWWB good work ge
I'd recommend the ge GTW485ASWWB it has a black headboard black looks cleaner notice it has nicer knobs and a nicer headboard but more importantly under the hood it has a true dual action agitator keep that up i recommend it ge the lid latch is more durable than wirlpool people can actually select the water level it has the cold plus keep up the good work ge I recommend this model GTW485ASWWB

Dream machine
Excellent machine! Very pleased with it except for one thing. Tried washing an area rug about 15”x20” and it would not spin the water out. ☹️ Tried the extra rinse cycle which did nothing.

I’ve had my GE Top Load Washing Machine for over a week now and can’t say enough about it! It’s so simple to use and I feel like our clothes come out cleaner than ever. The controls are self explanatory and the capacity is enough to hold a nice sized load. Another well designed appliance by GE. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Well built and performing American Made Machine
this machine is set up for someone who just wants the job done and it done correctly, and if thats you this is your machine that also looks well built .
We have only had it for a day but im pretty impressed with all the features, and the excellent job it does at cleaning and the quietness.
this also has all the knobs and features people have been missing over the years.

I love you can select the water level on this machine. Also the agitator is actually one that rotates a single direction and actually pulls the clothes from outside down the middle! Washes so much better than others. It is a little noisier than others on the wash cycle but I’m ok with that considering how it washes. Plus it’s in a laundry room so really doesn’t bother us. I also like you can add items after you start cause we all forgot things or find something to add. Simple machine that does the job and won’t break the bank!
